John R. Blade
Picture date: 2037. No current picture available.

John R. Blade

## Occupation: Chief of HARDCORPS
## Rank: Colonel
## Age: 35

## Personal Info:

Blade has been the boss around HARDCORPS ever since it was established in 2027, leading the independent sec-force into battle against crime around Freeport. Blade always keeps an eye on his officers and tries to maintain a high security standard inside HC to minimize casualties in firefights. Often, he takes accidents upon himself and tries to make up for the loss of a fellow HC officer by fighting back the evil forces even harder. Blade has the habit of going in alone on critical missions to keep recruits and less experienced officers from harm; nevertheless he somehow manages to escape alive from every adventure he embarks on.

Blade's troubled childhood has always been with him, making him strong and convinced of what he is doing and dedicating his work to both his dead father and his uncle Garrett who trained Blade when he was still young. He has sworn revenge to Elexis Sinclaire, SinTEK's former CEO who tried to dominate Freeport City and the whole continent in 2037, but escaped before Blade's eyes.

J.C.

## Occupation: HARDCORPS Computing Specialist
## Rank: Freelance
## Age: 26

## Personal Info:

JC (full name unknown) was hired by Blade to work for HARDCORPS in 2035 after he hacked into a set-up HC server and, unaware of the trap, showed his full hacking skills to Blade who was impressed enough to give JC a chance with the good guys. In his earlier hacking days, JC had been doing dirty jobs for the mafia and other organized crime divisions, always feeling that he was in the wrong place but lured to it by the money. JC was a whiz-kid with no laid-out future for himself and Blade gave him one. JC has been with HC ever since and proven to be an invaluable ally to Blade. There is simply almost nothing that JC can't hack.

Unfortunately, JC's private life has not changed very much during the last five years which has led him to believe that he is "one of his own kind" and accepting "rivaling company" like that of field recruit Kaitlyn Jones is a difficulty for him. However, he has warmed up to her recently and they have become friends with similar interests.

Kaitlyn Jones

## Occupation: HARDCORPS Field Recruit
## Rank: Rookie
## Age: 22

## Personal Info:

Working for Promexia Inc., Kaitlyn's father Dr. Roger Jones is currently in a doubtful position. Promexia has been a target of accusation recently, but even though Kaitlyn has no idea which division her father works for, she is convinced that he is not involved in the Incense crisis; a sign of the deep trust she gained to Dr. Jones in her childhood and during her days at the military academy. She was trained to become a field operative when she heard of an opportunity within HARDCORPS where she applied and was accepted for stage 2 field training. It was in that time that she met JC and quickly befriended him, possibly because of her advanced computing skills among other things.

Like all stage 2 recruits, Kaitlyn is trained and supervised by Lieutenant Gray; she never met Blade before because of his increasing involvement with the Incense case and lack of personal training supervision.

Dr. Terrance Logan

## Occupation: Promexia Labs Scientist
## Age: 45

## Personal Info:

Dr. Logan worked for LegionPharma in his younger years where he was tasked with simple drug mixing and usual pharmaceutical research. However, he was always on a quest for glory and tried to convince his superiors of his talents to get greater positions. He was finally recognized by Elexis Sinclaire when LegionPharma was transferred to Sinclaire Technologies, the early SinTEK. (OMFG! THIS is what SinTEK stands for!) Sinclaire gave him whatever he wanted and Logan never questioned her gratitude, becoming a puppet for Elexis that greatly helped her in her quest for her human-mutant revolution. When she disappeared in 2037, Logan found himself capable of continuing part of Sinclaire's research, which led to his position at Promexia.

Logan conducts experiments and research in an unknown branch of Promexia Labs somewhere in Freeport. He is a prime suspect associated with the Incense crisis.

Elexis Sinclaire
Picture date: 2037. No current picture available.

Elexis Sinclaire

## Occupation: former SinTEK CEO
## Age: 36

## Personal Info:

In her childhood days, Elexis often accompanied her father Dr. Thrall Sinclaire and quickly became interested in science. After she graduated from university, her efforts led her to be "second-in-command" at SinTEK, her father's own megacorporation. In 2036 Thrall Sinclaire retired and offered the lead to his daughter. Elexis took it eagerly, waiting for the day when she could fulfil all her biotechnological fantasies.
2037 then marked the year of Elexis' first strike at Freeport City and the whole North American continent, sending armies of mutants to take over bases of operations like the waterworks, underground facilities, and even a missile silo, in a quest for total domination over the human race which would be altered to an "efficient" genetic design, mutating everyone and putting them under control of Ms. Sinclaire. The catalyst used to start the mutant revolution was a drug named U4, put out on the black market as a mind-and-body booster. However, the Dyforsanide component in U4 quickly destabilized the brain of anyone using the drug and eventually led to physical mutations of all kinds.

HARDCORPS chief John Blade stopped Elexis' plan, interfering with every SinTEK operation in the chain of events and ultimately confronting Thrall Sinclaire himself. Although the scientist was in an "altered" genetic state enduced by Elexis and almost overpowered Blade, HC's combat specialist effectively used his collected arsenal to bring down the war machine that had once been Elexis' father. In the final meeting between her and Blade, she managed to escape using quantum destabilizing particle beam technology, transferring herself into four huge glass tubes and launching them into space. Three of the tubes were later discovered around the world by former friends of Sinclaire and SinTEK, with the fourth tube declared missing indefinitely.
